THE beginning of eight days of fashion unfolded at Pacific Fair today on the Gold Coast for the launch of the Australian Fashion Design Festival.
The glamorous festival held on the Gold Coast will culminate with the 28 NRA Australian Fashion Design Awards presented by AMP Capital Shopping Centres on Wednesday april 8.
About 80 local fashion design students showcased their creations on the catwalk at Pacific Fair at Broadbeach today to a panel of judges and the public.

All are vying for a spot in the televised final at the award ceremony.
The winner will receive a trip to Paris to study fashion design.
